The CPA Sporting and varmint rifles are reproductions of the Stevens 44 1/2 in classic sporting configuration, with barrels typically 24" - 28" long. These rifles are usually built to order, with a variety of options to suit your specific needs.
The CPA Sporting and varmint rifles normally use a sporting style stock, which is similar to the stock used on our silhouette rifles but with a higher comb. The sporting rifle illustrated uses the standard factory forearm with schnabel tip, while the varmint rifle uses a semi-beavertail forearm. You can request any of our stocks on a sporting rifle
These rifles are available in rimmed calibers, including .22LR, .222 Remington Rimmed, .225 Winchester, .22 Hornet and others. Standard barrels are round or part octagon in weights from #1 to #5 and up to 28” long. Sighting options include tang sights, Weaver or Unertl-style scope mounts and open front and barrel sights. Other options as described for the Schuetzen and Silhouette rifles are also available. FFL Required for shipment.
