Winchester-style forearm for Falling Block Works single shot rifles without ebony insert in the tip. Length is 10" long and attaching screw hole is 6.12" from the frame. Unlike a Winchester forearm, the channel is not inlet for a flat spring. We leave these forearms slightly long in the back.
Be sure to enter the shape of your barrel as well as the diameter at the frame and at the end of the forearm. Please also note requests such as a special location for the attaching hole. In most cases we cannot make forearms without attaching holes.
Forearms are 98% shaped and inlet. Forearms are typically left 1/8" long so you can trim it for an exact fit. Channels are generally cut within .010" and about .060" extra wood is left on outside surface for final sanding.
