In most cases we can inlet a forearm blank up to 2" wide and 2" deep for a custom barrel channel and the Ruger forearm hanger inlets.
Be sure to enter the shape of your barrel as well as the diameter at the frame and at the end of the forearm. The forearm hole is NOT drilled, this is better done after the wood is fit to the metal.
Forearms are typically left 1/8" long so you can trim it for an exact fit, in this case we do not inlet for the back of the frame. Channels are generally cut within .010" and the forearm hangar inletting is within about .030". If the barrel does not have a standard Ruger contour or a straight taper we will get as close as we can.
